Allan Kaulbach

Biography

Personal Life

Allan was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and lived in Washington, D.C. and Connecticut before moving to Atlantis with his wife Linda in 1998. Allan and Linda have two children and three grandchildren, who reside in New York City.

Allan is a founding member of Lantana Airport Citizens Committee (LACC) which was organized to protect the interests of Atlantis and other communities adjacent to Lantana Airport. He enjoys spending time with his family, gardening and cooking.

Employment

Before his retirement in 2014, Allan was a partner at Oliver Wyman (Management Consulting Division of Marsh and McLennan Companies) where he held various leadership positions and led large-scale corporate restructuring and M&A advisory work for government and leading private sector clients around the world.

Prior to that, he was Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Providence and Worcester Railroad Company where he was responsible for operations, marketing and sales and labor relations. Allan practiced law in Washington, D.C., specializing in administrative and transportation law.

Prior to private practice, Allan headed the "Outreach Attorney Program" for the Office of Public Counsel, Rail Services Planning Office, Interstate Commerce Commission, Washington D.C. (Special Office created by Congress for the reorganization of the railroad industry in the Northeastern and Midwestern U.S.).

Education

Allan worked his way through law school as a Law Clerk in the Legal Counsel’s Office of the US Marshals Service in the US Department of Justice.

Allan received a Bachelor’s in English from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University. He was a member of the District Of Columbia Bar until his retirement in 2014.
