Services

Criminal Opportunity Patrols

If an officer observes an opportunity for a crime he will attempt to contact you and correct the situation immediately. If we can’t contact you, then you will receive a courtesy warning letting you know what we found. Officers that observe open garage doors, vehicle doors, or other opportunities for crime, may have a dispatcher call your home and inform you of the opportunity for crime. For more tips on crime prevention please see Helpful Tips Section or ask for a crime prevention specialist to come to your home.

Dark House Program

Fingerprints

Available to all citizens, you must bring your own fingerprint card(s) and a valid form of identification. Non-residents will be charged $15 per card, no charge for residents.

Cash only, no checks accepted.

Records Department

The office of Communications Supervisor is the Custodian for Public Records for the Police Department, where all official records of the department are routinely created, sent, received and maintained. The location of and request contact information for the Atlantis Police Department is Megan Legall, Communications Supervisor.

Emergency Notification / Blackboard

Our Emergency Notification System is an automated geographic notification system. This program gives us the ability to get urgent, time-critical messages to groups of residences or businesses. Such messages may include: lost/missing persons notifications, water main breaks, and boil water notices.

This information system is a great asset to our community and we are pleased to bring you this service. If for some reason you do not wish to be contacted, please notify us and we’ll remove you from our database. You can opt for a phone call, text message or email.

Emergency Notification System forms are available in the lobby of City Hall and the Police Department. Residents can also sign up online at Atlantis Alert

Drug Drop Box

We have a red CVS-sponsored drug drop off box for expired/unwanted prescription medications that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the police department lobby.
